What is statutory and specific training?

The statutory training aims to provide you with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to carry out your duties when you access a new grade.
It also aims to make you aware of the environment in which you carry out your duties.
The content of statutory training is set for each by ministerial decree.
Training can be carried out face-to-face, remotely or in a work situation.
This training is completed during the internship period.
It is obligatory.

Additional training, prior to promotion to the next grade

Understood as any additional training, provided for by specific statutes, intended for promotion to a higher grade, as part of the transition from one group to another

Preparatory training for appointment to a position:

Understood as any preliminary training, intended for appointment to a position.
in accordance with the ministerial decree of December 12, 2017, supplement the decree of July 14, 2015, specifying the terms of organization of preparatory training to occupy certain grades belonging to the bodies of the administration of local authorities, its duration and content from the program.

For local authority administration bodies

Given their impact on the functioning of local authorities, the rules relating to the training of personnel in the territorial civil service are set by the legislator.
The objective of these provisions is to guarantee training adapted to the needs of agents and the expectations of local employers.
Interministerial order of December 26, 2017 corresponding to…. Supplementing the interministerial decree of 26 Chaouel 1437 corresponds to July 31, 2016 setting the terms of organization, duration, as well as the content of the complementary training programs prior to promotion in certain grades belonging to the bodies of local authorities training for all grades with the exception of the following grades:
• Territorial administrator
• Documentalist-archivist of the territorial administration
• Hygiene, public health and environment inspector
